1 weekend/month required
Per Diem, 1 weekend/month required (1 Saturday and 1 Sunday – does not have to be the same weekend). Vacation and Holiday coverage during the week days as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following.
Follows treatment goals and interventions established by OTR. Revises treatment goals and interventions for the appropriate discharge setting as needed. Secure appropriate physician orders. Update care plans as needed. Daily billing completion. Coordinate discharge paperwork. Has a positive team attitude and is cooperative and flexible. Prioritize work, anticipate problems, and has the ability to change task with minimal disruption. Make sound decisions and appropriate discharge plans. Communicate effectively and openly exchange information with interdisciplinary team. Follow appropriate communication channels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Board of Medical Examiners and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Hold current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB).
Hold Mass COTA license.
Encouraged to be a member of AOTA.
Must be or become CPR certified within 6 months of employment and maintain certification.
